| Due to the poor locations of the Meeting Point flag hidden from view by the structure of the main support beam and the info desk, half way down the arrivals hall and out of site,we will be meeting you at the Costa Cafe strategically placed in site of both exits into the arrivals hall for arriving travellers.We will advise when BAA make the odvious improvements. | ||

| Don't dismay the New Terminal 'T5' opened on Thursday March 27th 2008, with a bumpy press report, however in our case we have had no problems picking up our customers 'on time'from the new Arrivals hall in T5. The drop off area is a breeze at the moment, since BA cut back on the number of flights coming and going from the Terminal. So don't worry it's going to be a great improvment for all of us.PS please dont increase the short term parking, 2 hours free parking is about right, before starting charges. |

| Ryanair has today announced a new 'double daily' service to Edinburgh from 23rd September. Flights to Edinburgh will operate twice a day, Monday to Saturday and once a day on a Sunday. The announcement of the new destination comes just seven weeks after Bournemouth Airport became Ryanair's 24th European base. The new route linking the south coast with the Scottish capital will be particularly welcomed by business passengers looking for return travel in a day. Flights from Bournemouth depart at 08.35 arriving into Edinburgh at 09.55. Return flights leave Edinburgh at 20.25, arriving back into Bournemouth at 21.35. | A funny thing happened picking up our customers today. Our driver tells me that on arrival at the customer pick up address, he was confronted by a bleary eyed person asking what he was doing at such a time and day. Politely asking the customers to check his flight details, sudden panic broke out in the household as the couple in question had got their timing 24 hours adrift. It took just 10 minutes to find the bags in the loft ,throw clothes into the cases including a pair of painting trousers and out of the door. Customers arrived in time to catch their flight and have coffee in the departures lounge. Another Car Link Air story. | ||

| Your worst nightmare, picking up someones case in error at the carousel, and only realising it when you have arrived at your Hotel. No clothes or wash gear etc., Fortunately a call to Car Link Air ment the problem was resolved with their prompt service, picking up the case AND RETURNING it to the owners hotel on the other side of London. In exchange picking up my case from the airport lost luggage area and returning to a thankful customer. Well done, see you next trip to the UK from Italy. Mr. M. | ||
