| Bournemouth-based airline Palmair is releasing its single aircraft in a bid to save cash. The Boeing 737-500 made its last flight over the weekend and has been returned to the leasing company. Passengers who have made future bookings with Palmair will now be transferred onto another airline. Palmair has been operating from Bournemouth Airport since 1958. Palmair managing director David Skillicorn said the move was necessary to secure the airline’s long term future. “We’ve taken the view that in the current market operating our own aircraft is a high risk,” Skillicorn said: |

| What a wonderfull world, Despight very bad weather we enjoyed the trip down from central London to Monkey world, Our driver gave us a detailed description of the various areas we were travellng through, once we arrived at Monkey World we were most impressed by the whole visit. Our Guide around the enclosures was wonderful and the whole trip back up to Heathrow with our experienced driver made it a day to rememeber. | Council has ruined the main entrance to Bournemouth, Litter everywhere, including unsightly black taty plastic roughly pinned into the ground causing unsightly mess. What ever have they had in their minds knowing that there was to be a change in Government and canellation of any investment in the Spur Road. Come on council a least clean up the rubbish and the mess you have instigated. | Progress of New lanes on the M25- Clockwise lanes have been almost completed as at 3ed Noveber 2004. Contra flow still in operation affecting Anti clockwise flow and slip road trafic from the M3 junction. Please note that the M25 Motorway between M3 slip road to the M4 intersection is undergoing major alterations (addition of extra lanes) to accommodate extra traffic from the 5th terminal under construction at the end of the airport between the two main runways. Visible work started on Terminal 5 approximately 9 months ago in 2003 digging out the main foundations. There are approximately 100 cranes in use on the site from observations and the perimiter ring road is well underway. |

| A funny thing happened picking up our customers today. Our driver tells me that on arrival at the customer pick up address, he was confronted by a bleary eyed person asking what he was doing at such a time and day. Politely asking the customers to check his flight details, sudden panic broke out in the household as the couple in question had got their timing 24 hours adrift. It took just 10 minutes to find the bags in the loft ,throw clothes into the cases including a pair of painting trousers and out of the door. Customers arrived in time to catch their flight and have coffee in the departures lounge. Another Car Link Air story. | ||

| Your worst nightmare, picking up someones case in error at the carousel, and only realising it when you have arrived at your Hotel. No clothes or wash gear etc., Fortunately a call to CarLinkAir.com ment the problem was resolved with their prompt service, picking up the case AND RETURNING it to the owners hotel on the other side of London. In exchange picking up my case from the airport lost luggage area and returning to a thankful customer. Well done, see you next trip to the UK from Italy. Mr. M. | ||
